Pat Donnellan
CEO
Pat has served as CEO and director of AEP Networks since 2002 having joined the company at the beginning of its startup phase. He has substantial international experience in directing startup companies, mergers, acquisitions and business restructuring. Prior to joining AEP, Pat held several senior positions in Modus Media, a global leader in the technology services sector, from 1994 to 2001 including President – EMEA, President – North America, COO and Group President – International. Pat holds a BA from the National University of Ireland – Galway.

Kathy Kinnamon
CFO
Kathy has over 20 years of experience in accounting operations, treasury, human resource management and corporate finance. Previously, Kathy served as VP Finance/Controller at Netilla Networks (prior to the merger). Before that, she served in the capacities of Acting Chief Financial Officer, and Vice President and Treasurer for KCS Energy, Inc. where she directed corporate accounting, treasury, human resources and bank relations, and raised more than $500 million in the private and public equity and debt markets prior to the company's relocation to Houston, TX. Kathy holds a B.S. degree in Finance from Rider University. |
Peter van de Geest
Managing Director, Secure Communications & Networking
Peter has held a number of senior positions in the ICT industry over the past 15 years. As CEO of Vados Systems he was part of the team that led the MBO from Datatec Ltd in 2005. At Datatec he was Director of E-business solutions in the UK and prior to that was Managing Director of Logical Network Solutions in South Africa as well as being a director of Destiny Electronic Commerce, Datatec Open Information Technologies and PWNet (the security practice joint venture between PWC and UUNet). Before that Peter was co-founder and later managing director of VWV Interactive, a pioneer in internet integration in the early 90’s. Peter holds a post graduate degree in the arts. |
Paul Spencer
SVP/GM, Secure Application Access
Paul has over 20 years of experience in the field of Software Engineering and Data Communications Technology. He brings with him tremendous experience in bringing products to production from the very early stages of research and prototyping. Prior to joining AEP Networks, Paul was the Vice President of Engineering at NIKSUN Inc. where he was responsible for the company’s portfolio of Network Security and Performance Management products. Paul began his career at Bellcore (now Telcordia) where he worked primarily in the areas of Computer Communications Technology Research, Network Management Software Systems, and Hardware Architectures. He received a BS degree in Computer Science from the City College of New York, and a Masters of Science degree from Polytechnic University of New York.

Peter Clark
Vice President, Sales – Europe, Middle East and Africa
Peter is a true “industry veteran” with over 35 years experience in computing and I.T. Starting as a software engineer on mainframe computers, he progressed from a technical to a commercial role, and has held many sales and marketing management positions over the past 30 years, primarily within the network and communications security sector, including time within SCC, and as UK Sales Manager at Thales e-Security. Peter has a wealth of experience within the Government arena, having spent the last 10 years exclusively within this market.

Stephen Lewis
Vice President, Business Development Europe
Stephen Lewis has over 30 years experience in IT, computer security and cryptographic security and now leads AEP Networks' Business Development in Europe. Since joining AEP Networks, Stephen has specialised within the areas of network encryption consultancy, equipment and security architecture design and product management. Projects include the development of Network Security Architectures for major UK and European Criminal Justice Systems, the integration of AEP Networks' encryption products into national and international communications infrastructure systems and innovative design work in the area of data separation in shared service environments. Prior to joining AEP Networks, Stephen was a public servant responsible for advising UK industry on the design and development of cryptographic products and services.

Mark Pitts
Vice President, Business Development – vadOS Solutions
Mark Pitts is responsible for overseeing the company’s core Solutions Development and delivery of a broad portfolio of voice and data communications solutions to the government, maritime, aeronautical and enterprise markets. Mark served in a Business/Solutions Development role of Satelcom Ltd from 1994 (becoming Solutions Director in May 1999), and was appointed to the Board in December 2003. Prior to joining Vados Systems he was the Network Solutions Architect for public sector solutions such as Fire & Rescue to Child- at-Risk register solutions. Prior to this, between 1984 and 1988, he held a number of business development and technical positions within the network industry.

Melody Iffland
Vice President, Marketing
Melody joined AEP from Lumeta Corporation, where she served as the director of marketing. During her tenure, she was instrumental in launching their flagship IPsonar network vulnerability assessment product. Prior to that, Melody was the senior marketing manager at Flarion Technologies - Qualcomm. She spent the first twelve years of her career at NCR Corporation where she held a variety of roles including industry marketing manager for the communications industry, an organization that delivered Teradata database and CRM/BI software solutions to Global 500 companies. Melody holds a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. |
