Tech Note: 001 SmartGate Compatible NIC Cards: Information on Tested Network Interface Cards Applies to: SmartGate, Release 4.0 and under. Last updated: Wednesday February 23, 2000 . SUMMARY The following NICs (Network Interface Cards) have been tested and verified to work correctly with the SmartGate IPSEC Server software and SmartPass IPSEC Client software. This is not a complete list of compatible cards. This list only contains cards that V-ONE has tested, and are known to work with no issues. The SmartGate IPSEC Server software and SmartPass IPSEC Client software should be compatible with any Ethernet card with an NDIS compliant driver or with any dial-up adapter (modem or ISDN). Note: V-ONE is not aware of any NIC cards that are currently incompatible.
