Technical Alert for SmartPass interoperability with Windows XP SP2

Microsoft is in the process of releasing Service Pack 2 for Windows XP. Last-minute changes in the service pack code resulted in an interoperability problem with SmartPass (and other vendors' products). A hotfix issued by Microsoft has been tested by Engineering/QA that remedies the problem.
If you plan to upgrade to Windows XP SP2, you must use SmartPass 4.6 and install the Microsoft hotfix (http://support.microsoft.com/?id=884020).
SmartPass 4.6 Beta software is available on the V-ONE software download site. A GA version will be available once the Microsoft hotfix is publicly available
