Personal Firewalls Compatible with SmartPass 4.3b

Problem: There are several instances where personal firewall software products conflict with SmartPass software because of non-standard Winsock2 implementations.

Resolution: The following freely or commercially available personal firewall products have been tested with SmartPass version 4.3b and are known to be compatible:

1. Norton Personal Firewall 2003
2. eSafe v3.1 Build 36
3. ISS BlackIce v3.5
4. Tiny Software Personal Firewall v3.0.8
5. ZoneAlarm Pro v3.1

Many others may be compatible, but haven't been tested. If you are unsure whether your personal firewall is compatible with SmartPass software, contact V-ONE Customer Care for advice before installing both products (SmartPass and your personal firewall) on the same PC.
