Microsoft Products Compatibility

This note is intended to provide information regarding Microsoft products, including Internet Explorer 7 and Microsoft Vista.

AEP Netilla Security Platform and Internet Explorer 7 (IE7)

AEP Networks understands the critical need to support Microsoft's latest browser version. Due to the magnitude of changes incorporated into IE 7, we have identified a number of compatibility issues between the new browser and our NSP software. On November 20, AEP released an update file for our current shipping release, Release 5.2.25, available here.

AEP is committed to supporting IE 7 on the following platforms:

• For NSP release 5.2.2.25 - End-user installable upgrade file is available that brings these platforms to Release 5.2.2.28. This file incorporates the IE 7 fixes in addition to several other patches for this version.
• For NSP release 5.2.1.6 - These platforms should be upgraded to Release 5.2.2.28 in order to provide IE7 functionality.
