AEP Secure Gateway Appliance - End of Life

AEP Secure Gateway Appliance (SGA) End of Life Statement
November 16, 2007

With more choices of AEP Netilla SSL VPN appliances available to address the needs of smaller SSL VPN deployments, the AEP Secure Gateway Appliance (SGA) has become obsolete.

Therefore, AEP is announcing the end of life for the AEP SGA. Effective immediately, the SGA appliance is no longer available for new orders. AEP will continue to offer hardware support to SGA customers who have a current maintenance contract until October 31, 2009.

For customers under an active maintenance plan, AEP recommends upgrading to the more robust Netilla 2000.
This model, which supports clustering and failover and is fully upgradeable to future releases, represents the better choice to meet real-world application access needs.

Please contact your certified AEP resellers for more details, or contact AEP sales directly.

Thank you,

AEP Customer Care
