Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS)
Government departments and federal agencies that manage access to highly sensitive applications need 100% confidence that their private data remains totally secure. The AEP Netilla SSL VPN with Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS) support is designed to provide secure remote access to highly confidential data to meet the most stringent U.S., Canadian and U.K. security standards.
The FIPS-certified Netilla appliance leverages AEP Networks' revolutionary ACCE Advanced Configurable Crypto Environment (ACCE) technology. ACCE is the next generation, flexible cryptographic platform that provides the highest levels of assurance: FIPS 140. With Netilla FIPS appliance, employees and trusted partners can quickly and securely reach key applications and sensitive data while meeting the most stringent public sector security requirements in use today.

Virtual Private Network Consortium (VPNC)
VPNC's certification program involves extensive testing that
mimics real-world experiences of SSL VPN users. The testing guarantees security, functionality and interoperability with business-critical applications, such as Microsoft Outlook Web Access. Certification also assures SSL VPN users that they can access applications remotely using the latest version of the Mozilla Firefox browser.
VPNC certified the AEP Netilla Security Platform's support for a broad range of SSL VPN features and included separate VPNC testing programs for Basic Interoperability, SSL Portal, SSL Exchange and SSL Firefox. |

Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA)
The CSIA is a unit of the UK Government's Cabinet Office and works with partners in the public and private sectors, as well as its international counterparts, to help safeguard the nation's IT and telecommunications services.
The CSIA Claims Tested (CCT) Mark is a government quality mark initiative for information technology security products and services.
In order for a product to receive the coveted CCT Mark award it must go through a stringent testing and evaluation process which validates the Information Assurance claims made for the product's security functionality to give confidence to those using it within the UK Public Sector for secure, web-browser access to a broad range of business applications. AEP Networks is one of only two SSL VPN vendors awarded the CCT Mark. |
