AEP Keyper Professional is certified to FIPS 140-1, Level 4 - the highest level of FIPS 140-1 certification - and ITSEC E3, the accepted level of ITSEC certification. This level of certification is unmatched by any other product worldwide.

In particular FIPS 140-1 is a standard specifically written to certify hardware modules, determining four levels of achievement in hardware security and design. AEP Keyper has always achieved FIPS 140-1, Level 4 assurance, the most recent certificate being awarded in July 2002.
