AEP Networks a ‘Best Security Solution for Healthcare’ finalist in SC Magazine Awards Europe 2008

LONDON , UK – 11 February 2008 – The AEP Netilla Security Platform (NSP) from policy networking leader, AEP Networks, has been short listed as a finalist in the ‘Best Security Solution for Healthcare' category in the SC Magazine Awards Europe 2008. The awards reward excellence and innovation in the IT security industry.

The NSP is a SSL Virtual Private Network (VPN) appliance which provides secure and reliable Web-based remote access to data and applications. In the healthcare sector the system enables healthcare professionals and administrative staff to quickly and securely reach key applications and sensitive data such as patient records or billing information – from any location, at any time – safely and easily through a standard web browser.

The NSP has earned the UK Government's Central Sponsor for Information Assurance (CSIA) Claims Tested (CCT) Mark, ensuring trust and confidence in its ability to deliver secure remote access.
