AEP Networks Announces Microsoft^® Windows^® Vista^® Support for AEP SmartGate

Application-layer security gateway Now Vista Compatible

Somerset, NJ – May 7, 2007 – AEP Networks, the leader in policy-based networking, announced the release of AEP SmartPass version 5.2, which delivers Microsoft Windows Vista compatibility for AEP SmartGate.

AEP SmartGate is an identity-based access management security product designed for rapid deployment of large-scale, distributed, information-sharing environments. SmartGate enables organizations to securely exchange information with employees, customers and business partners over any IP-based infrastructure. Advanced features enable federated identity, strong authentication and control of access privileges across trusted organizations .

SmartPass 5.2 is available to all customers with current maintenance contracts, and can be downloaded via the SmartGate Support site.
