AEP Networks Named SC Awards Finalist in Two Categories

Nominations Acknowledge Security Technology Innovation

LONDON, UK – 22 February 2007 – AEP Networks, the leader in policy networking, has been named a finalist in two categories of the 2007 SC Magazine Awards Europe program, demonstrating outstanding achievement in information technology (IT) security.

The AEP Net Remote for Mobile Working has been voted a finalist in the Best Security Solution for Government category.

The capacity for home and mobile working is central to the UK Government's Transformational Government agenda. AEP 's Net Remote is a purpose built solution that enables Government employees to access classified data remotely using Broadband, WiFi, or dial-up. It is fully approved under the UK CAPS scheme to carry data marked up to CONFIDENTIAL.

AEP Net Remote provides a fully managed solution for remote access to sensitive data that is easy to set up and install. Once established, all devices are managed from a single management centre, with the ability to control and audit the network and security aspects separately.

The company's AEP Netilla Security Platform (NSP) was also named a finalist, in the Best Remote Access category of the competition.

Winners will be announced at an awards event to be held in London on 24 April 2007 .
